Button Brothers is a meeting point of two worlds: precision and intuition, heritage and reinvention. Founded in Melbourne and rooted in Johannesburg, the brand is built on the belief that clothing is more than what we wear. It carries your story, links you to culture, and reflects the makers hand.

Every piece begins with a journey across continents. Fabrics are selected from the most skilled mills in Asia Japanese cotton, Indian silks, textured blends from master weavers, before being cut, shaped, and finished in our Johannesburg studio. This movement across borders is not an aesthetic choice; it is our philosophy. Creation is global. Craft is universal. The garment becomes the place where these worlds meet.

Button Brothers draws from the Yoruba story of Obatala and Oduduwa two brothers whose tension, harmony, and shared purpose shaped the earth. One creates through intention. The other through impulse. Together, they form balance, and from that balance, a world is made.The collection reimagines this myth as a study of duality, collaboration, and shared purpose in contemporary brotherhood.
